Michael R. Gotto

Growing up in Southern California, Michael Gotto made his acting debut in 1996 as Young Tommy Oliver, on the popular children’s series Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.

After being a ranger, Michael went on to finish school, and receive his teaching credential, and now resides in the Los Angeles, California area, where he teaches high school and has his own band, Sanctified.

Over the next few years, Sanctified developed a fan following, performed several live shows, and in November 2003, they won 1st place in the McDonald’s Gospelfest competition. After delivering a flawless performance in front of the four thousand attendees at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, Sanctified was recognized on Fox 11 News. Additionally, in April 24, Sanctified performed the “National Anthem” for a crowd of eighteen thousand at the Staples Center.

From that point on, Sanctified was requested to perform at various events including McDonald’s executives’ meetings and conferences. The group was also booked by Extreme Faith Productions, based out of Phoenix, Arizona, to open for various artists, such as Warren Barfield, Paul Wright, and Seven Places.

With a desire to expand on their a capella style, Sanctified decided to incorporate their harmonies into rock music. In May of 24, the group set out to find a drummer, a bassist, and a guitarist. Their discovery of these talented musicians surpassed all expectations they had prior to searching. The eclectic group added Josh on drums, Sean on guitar, and Danny on bass.

Since the band’s transformation into rock music, Sanctified has played with artists such as Powerman 5000, Brandi Carlile, Something Like Silas, and National Product. Sanctified’s name is always expanding as they play at several venues in the Los Angeles and Hollywood areas, including The Roxy Theatre, Key Club, Whisky A Go-Go, and Hard Rock Café at Universal City Walk.

Today, Sanctified continues to woo crowds with their catchy sound. Their songs range from soft, epic ballads to face-paced rock rhythms. With bursting energy and entertaining stage presence, Sanctified always leaves the stage with fans screaming “Encore!”
