Jim Shooter sold his first comic in 1966 at age 13 to DC Comics. He was Marvel Comics Editor-In-Chief from 1978 to 1987, where he revitalized Marvel and oversaw the company’s largest growth since 1960’s, including the foundation of G.I. Joe. Jim founded Valiant Comic in 1989, Defiant Comics in 1993, and Boardway Comic in 1995.
